ArcardsABC 1.1

Arcards ABC is an educational set of flashcards aimed at introducing young children to the alphabet. When combined with the Augmented Reality App Arcards ABC, available for download on tablets and smartphones, the physical cards are enhanced with interactive digital content. The app facilitates pronunciation of each letter and offers interesting facts related to the images associated with them. By aligning the device camera with a card, an augmented image emerges on the screen, ready for user interaction. Touching the displayed image triggers a video presentation about the object, complementing it with engaging facts. Selecting the letter on the screen plays an audio clip to pronounce it clearly. This feature engages children in learning the alphabet while helping them associate letters with common words. The reverse side of each card displays four images of objects starting with the corresponding letter, providing additional opportunities for vocabulary expansion. The physical cards can be used independently of the app or in conjunction with it for an enhanced learning experience.
